GENERAL CITY INFO:
Almost all gay bars/clubs are busy after midnight. They all play loud music (Turkish pop and English pop or techno in hourly turns). There are no dark rooms in any of them for any action. Saturday nights are busiest nights everywhere. Friday nights are also busy. Wednesday would be the busiest mid-week day. Monday would usually be the least busy day and a few upper scale bars can be closed. Almost every bar/club would "demand" entrance fee on Saturday nights and sometimes on Friday nights, but you can get one "local drink" with your ticket. The price of one drink ranges approximately between 5-8 US Dollars for local drinks, 10-20 US Dollars for "imported drinks" such as Whiskey, Malibu, Safari etc. (Payment in Turkish Liras is recommended). Leaving your coats at the cloakrooms are insistently requested in winter, and you have to pay for it usually when you leave. We recommend you to visit ;

BESINCI KAT ( "The Fifth Floor") 09:00 – 03:00 Siraselviler Caddesi, Soganci Sokak, No:7/1, Cihangir-Beyoglu This is not a gay venue but fairly popular among gay people. This friendly restaurant-bar is at the same building with Barbahce Bar.
